Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” scores its 12th week at number-one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
“Choosin’ Texas” joins just 25 other hits that have accumulated a dozen weeks or more at number-one since the chart was created in 1958. It’s also one of just five from women with no male collaborator and it’s the only one by an act known for recording primarily country music.
The one with the most week’s at #1: Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” – 22 weeks.
