Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” is still looking strong on the Billboard Hot 100 chart racking up a 24th week at number-one.
Last week, it claimed the history-breaking “most weeks at number-one” surpassing Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” which held the top spot for 22 weeks, so this week is just creating some distance between the two songs before the holiday season hits and Mariah could notch a few more weeks at number-one. Because remember- the Billboard Hot 100 counts cumulative weeks at #1, not consecutive weeks.
