Devin Dawson asked his girlfriend of two years, Leah Sykes, to be his wife — and she said yes.
He posted on social media, “I know there are almost 8 billion people in this world, but — without a shadow of a doubt — you made me the happiest man on this floating spinning rock when you said yes. I could go on forever.”
Jake Owen is set to make his official acting debut in the upcoming film “The Friend”. He joins Jason Segel, Dakota Johnson and Casey Affleck in the film based on the essay, “The Friend: Love is Not a Big Enough Word,” a true-story about a man’s terminally ill wife and the support of his best friend, who moves into their home following the diagnosis.
The movie is currently filming. No word on Jake’s role or when the film will be released.
