The Rangers pay tribute to Charley Pride…
Trisha Yearwood has another cookbook coming out…
The Texas Rangers’ training camp in Surprise, Arizona has named its field after Charley Pride.
Charley was part-owner of the team and often worked out with them during spring training. Every year, he performed for the team and staff in a clubhouse concert.
He died in December of 2020 due to complications of COVID-19.
Trisha Yearwood will release her fourth cookbook this fall.
She wrote Trisha’s Kitchen: Easy Comfort Food for Friends and Family while in quarantine. She says, “My pantry holds basics, staples that I use daily, so when we were faced with being home and not going to the grocery store, especially in the very beginning of the pandemic, I didn’t panic. I knew I could make meals out of what I had in my freezer — I always keep frozen ground beef, steaks, pizzas — and dried goods like pasta and canned sauces.”
The book also includes some of Garth Brooks’s favorites, like Breakfast Burger With Maple Hot Butter and Garth’s Teriyaki Bowls.
