Maren Morris says women performers shouldn’t have to choose…
Dierks Bentley’s 90s cover band got a record deal- maybe…

Maren Morris doesn’t believe that female performers have to choose between motherhood and life on the road.
She wrote on Instagram, “I never wanted my people to choose. I think it’s a great conversation to have if you’re an artist who employs women. So let’s shred for 90 minutes and then go rock these babes to sleep on the bus with a glass of wine.”
Maren’s baby boy is due in March and her bassist Annie announced she is expecting as well.

Dierks Bentley’s ’90s cover band Hot Country Knights has gotten a record deal. For real. Maybe.
Hot Country Knights are lead singer Douglas “Doug” Douglason (Dierks), lead bass player Trevor Travis, lead guitarist Marty Ray (“Rayro”) Roburn, keytar/fiddle player  “Terry” Dvoraczekynski, steel guitarist Barry Van Ricky and percussionist Monte Montgomery.
The band usual opens for Dierks’s headlining shows.
