Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” has just notched its 18th week at number-one, which means she’s just a week away from tying with Billy Ray Cyrus and Lil Nas X (“Old Town Road”) and Shaboozey (“A Bar Song”) for the most weeks for a non-holiday song to top the chart.
The next milestone would be 22 weeks. That would tie her with Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” Then 23 weeks to make “Choosin’ Texas” the most successful song ever on the Hot 100 chart.
