Darius Rucker to honor Ray Charles…
Blake Shelton has landed a role in the animated film Uglydolls.
Blake will voice the character of Ox — the unofficial mayor of Uglyville. He’ll also perform original songs for the film.
Also in the cast are Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas, Pitbull, and Wanda Sykes.
Uglydolls will be released in May.
Darius Rucker will host An Opry Salute to Ray Charles on October 8th at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.
Performers include Boyz II Men, Cam, Brett Eldredge,Travis Tritt, Chris Young, and many more. The show will be taped for a PBS special which will air in November.
