Congratulations go out to Mitchell Tenpenny as his song “Truth About You,” the first single from his upcoming album, This is the Heavy, hits #1 on the Mediabase Country Singles chart. This is Mitchell’s second solo #1 since 2018’s “Drunk Me.”
John Michael Montgomery is recovering from injuries received when a bus he was traveling in hit an embankment and overturned.
He was on his way to a show in North Carolina when the accident occurred. Two other passengers on the tour bus also sustained minor injuries.
In a post on Facebook, he said he received cuts and broken ribs in the incident, but thanked police and medics for their quick response and treatment.
