Blake Shelton to tour in 2019…
Brett Young to be honored for his songwriting…

Blake Shelton will bring both country newcomers and legends on the road with him in 2019.
His Friends and Heroes tour kicks off on February 14th. The tour will feature new and old country artists — John Anderson, Trace Adkins, The Bellamy Brothers and Lauren Alaina.
Blake says, “I think that this is going to be a great opportunity for the country music fan base to be re-introduced to these guys and, selfishly, I’m just excited to share the stage with them! It’ll be great to have Trace back out on the road with us, and I can’t wait for one of my newer friends and heroes, Lauren Alaina, to blow these crowds away.”

2018 has been the year of Brett Young. Now, he will be honored at the ASCAP Country Music Awards as this year’s ASCAP Country Songwriter Artist of the Year.
The award is earned by the songwriter who has written and recorded at least two songs that, collectively, have amassed the greatest airplay during a certain time period.
His chart-topping songs “In Case You Didn’t Know” and “Like I Loved You” will also be honored an event that takes place in Nashville on November 12th.
