If you want to own a piece of country music history, Blake Shelton’s childhood home in Ada, Oklahoma is on the market.  The three bedroom, two-and-a-half bath ranch-style home is listed for $250,000.
Blake’s mother Dorothy hasn’t lived there for a few years but has rented the house out.

Reba McEntire’s 1991 hit “Fancy” will soon be a Broadway musical. The musical will focus on a poor young girl, who’s mother encourages her to become a country singer.

The musical features “Fancy” as the title track, as well as a combination of female country anthems such as Loretta Lynn‘s “Don’t Come Home a ’Drinkin’ (With Lovin’ on Your Mind),” Bonnie Raitt‘s “I Can’t Make You Love Me,” Carrie Underwood‘s “Before He Cheats” and Gretchen Wilson‘s “Redneck Woman.” The musical is in it’s early developmental stages. Fancy’s mom would be so proud!
