Luke Bryan is at number one…
The Academy of Country Music has revealed the winners of the new artist categories for the 53rd annual ACM Awards. Lauren Alaina is the New Female Vocalist of the Year. Brett Young is this year’s New Male Vocalist of the Year.Midland picked up the award for New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year.
They each received a surprise phone call from hostess Reba McEntire, who shared the exciting news with them.
Luke Bryan is good at being number one. “Most People Are Good” tops the Mediabase Country Airplay chart this week. Every one of Luke’s singles since his 2011 release “I Don’t Want This Night to End” has reached number-one on either the Mediabase or Billboard charts. This is his 20th number-one single!
