More performers announced for the CMT Music Awards…
Darius Rucker celebrates his eighth number-one country single with “For the First Time.”
He explains the song is about getting out of your comfort zone- saying, “We all get in such ruts. We all get into a place where we just live our lives where we are happy. We’re doing what we’re supposed to do. Do something you’ve always wanted to do that you haven’t done before.”
Carrie Underwood, Backstreet Boys, Dan and Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Jason Aldean and Little Big Town have joined the lineup of performers for the CMT Music Awards.
Special collaborations include Dierks Bentley featuring Brothers Osborne, and Darius Rucker featuring Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean and Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley.
They join previously announced performers Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, Chris Stapleton, Kelsea Ballerini and Sam Hunt.
The CMT Music Awards, hosted by Little Big Town, will air live from Nashville on June 6th on CMT and CMT.com.
