Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” has earned its 15th week at number-one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. That means it inches past Mariah Carey’s “We Belong Together” and Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” as the longest-leading non-holiday hit by a woman with no co-billed acts.
If it can hold on for eight more weeks, it will surpass Mariah’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” as the longest-leading hit by a woman with no co-billed acts (including holiday music).
